Business Controller (32-40 hours)

Due to our strong growth, there is a growing need for more financial control, structure and strategic insight. That is why we are looking for an ambitious Business Controller who gets energy from building, improving and contributing at a high level.

This is not a standard controlling role. You will be given the freedom and responsibility to further professionalise the financial organisation and play an important role in the next growth phase of our companies.

What will you do?

As Business Controller, you are the financial sparring partner for the board and management. You translate figures into concrete insights and help steer on profitability, growth and efficiency.

You maintain overview, identify opportunities and risks and ensure that the organisation remains financially in control during further scaling.

Your responsibilities:

⚜️ Preparing and analysing periodic reports and results
⚜️ Developing budgets, forecasts and financial scenarios
⚜️ Building clear dashboards and management information
⚜️ Developing and monitoring KPIs
⚜️ Identifying trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
⚜️ Advising on strategic decisions and investments
⚜️ Optimising financial and operational processes
⚜️ Actively contributing to the further professionalisation of the organisation

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an analytically strong professional who looks beyond spreadsheets alone. Someone who dares to be critical, works independently and gets energy from a dynamic entrepreneurial environment.

What you bring:

⚜️ At least 3 years of work experience as a Controller or Business Controller
⚜️ A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics or Accountancy
⚜️ Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude
⚜️ The ability to switch between details and the bigger picture
⚜️ An entrepreneurial mindset and strong communication skills
⚜️ The confidence to challenge and advise management
