8. LOST - Herman Brood
Brood worked primarily with acrylic paint, often in combination with spray paint, marker and collage elements. His visual work is characterized by an expressive, direct style with bright colors, powerful contours and influences from pop art and graffiti. Music, city life and popular culture formed recurring themes’s within his oeuvre.
His work has been exhibited extensively in the Netherlands and internationally and is included in museum and private collections. Herman Brood is regarded as one of the most recognizable and influential Dutch artists of the late twentieth century.
