Description
This Provence ‘Infinie’ Rouge 2016 from Maison Meï is a deep red wine full of character. A nine month maturation on French oak, complemented by a touch of American oak, creates layers of complexity that blend beautifully with the intensity of Mourvèdre. Expect aromas of black cherry and cocoa, followed by a powerful, spicy and well balanced palate with refined oak influences.

Maison Meï is the project of winemaker Benjamin Meï and his cousin Bernard. After studying viticulture and oenology in Burgundy and gaining experience across the world, including Chile, Benjamin developed a solid reputation as an internationally awarded winemaker. Since his return to Provence in 2015, he has been working under “Provence Wine Maker”, later expanding with the acquisition of Domaine Saint Jean in the Luberon.
