24. Saskia - Maria Strabel
Maria Strabel: (Prague, 1977) works with oil, ink, charcoal, chalk, and wallpaper. Her works contain many layers, which give them originality and a distinctive character within her oeuvre. These palimpsests sometimes emerge from a subtle pastel color palette, sometimes from vibrant, bright colors. They are creations of refined colorists whose origins date back to the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
The artworks are primarily from the STIMA collection.
Since 1987, art has been rented and sold to private collectors and advised for corporate collections.
