Andy Warhol is an icon of pop art and one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. His work is characterized by high-contrast screen prints and paintings of everyday objects such as the famous Campbell’s soup cans, flowers and the iconic banana from The Velvet Underground & Nico. He also createdëered stylized portraits of celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and Elizabeth Taylor, which are now among the absolute classics of modern art.
Warhol's work is loved worldwide and remains a symbol of the intersection between art, media and popular culture.
The artworks are primarily from the STIMA collection.
Since 1987, art has been rented and sold to private collectors and advised for corporate collections.
