Opening: 86/150
Keith Haring (1958–1990) was an American artist who became known worldwide for his iconic, cartoon-like imagery. His work is often counted among pop art and graffiti art and symbolizes the energy of New York street culture in the 1980s.
With simple lines and bright colors, Haring managed to depict complex themes such as AIDS, drugs and apartheid in an accessible and powerful way. His artworks carry a strong social and societal message and have become icons of modern art.
The artworks are primarily from the STIMA collection.
Since 1987, art has been rented and sold to private collectors and advised for corporate collections.
