.Pablo Picasso (1881–1973) is considered one of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th century. At an early age he showed exceptional talent; at 13 he was admitted to the Academy of Fine Arts in Barcelona, where he was immediately allowed to skip several years of study. His early works already stood out for their technical quality and emotional eloquence.
Picasso developed into a revolutionary artist who went through and innovated numerous styles. He became a co-founder of Cubism and created an impressive and multifaceted oeuvre consisting of paintings, drawings, sculptures and ceramics. His works, which include such iconic pieces as Les Demoiselles d’Avignon and Guernica, are among the absolute pinnacles of modern art and can be found in the world's leading museums and collections.
The artworks are mainly from the STIMA collection.
Since 1987, art has been rented and sold to private collectors and advised for corporate collections.
