The CS 36 Merlin, designed by Tony Castro and built by Canadian Sailcraft (1986–1990), is a versatile cruiser-racer with excellent sailing characteristics, a wing keel, and a straightforward deck layout that makes single-handed sailing possible.
The interior is comfortably arranged with a galley, saloon, navigation table, forward cabin with V-berth, aft cabin, and the boat comes with a purchase survey report conducted in July 2025.
In 2018, the boat was fitted with a new Yanmar 3YM30AE (28 HP) engine.
