Tasting notes
Charming Prosecco with a pleasant, soft mousse. Remarkably pure flavor with fresh citrus, pear, peach, and a hint of almonds. Fruity finish. This Prosecco stands out for its exceptional concentration.
Sorelle Bronca
Since the 1980s, the Sorelle Bronca winery has been producing wines from grapes grown in the top Prosecco region: Valdobbiadene. They also produce a few quality still wines from the neighboring Colli di Conegliano. It remains a modest family business. Grandfather Martino and father Livio laid the foundation for the sisters (Sorelle) Antonella and Ersiliana, hence the name.
The estate is run by Antonella Bronca together with her husband Piero and her niece Elisa, the winemaker. The company consistently chooses quality and communicates in a modest way. In Italy, their Proseccos have long been considered top-tier, and as they expand internationally, that reputation is gaining recognition abroad as well. Although not certified, great care is taken to ensure ecological sustainability.
Winemaker Elisa crafts her Prosecco with great finesse. She uses no added sugars such as cane or brown sugar. Because their Prosecco only contains natural grape sugars, it is fruitier and more elegant than that of many competitors. A bonus of this natural method is the very low need for sulfites.
