Champagne Paul Bara Brut Réserve – Grand Cru NV
1 box (6 bottles) €261.00 (recommended retail price incl. VAT)
Decanter: 89 | Vivino: 4.1
Wine description:
Pale yellow-gold in color. Ripe aromas of peach, a touch of bergamot, and top notes of mirabelle plums. Accents of spice and a soft hint of honey follow. On the palate, it’s fresh, fruity, full-bodied, and intensely flavored. Fine bubbles create a pleasant mousse and lead to a long-lasting finish.
Winery:
The Bara family has lived and worked in Bouzy since 1600. Initially cattle farmers, they turned to viticulture in 1836. With Paul Bara himself at the helm around 1950, the family began producing and marketing their Champagne under the now-renowned Paul Bara label. Today, Paul’s daughter Chantale runs the house, and the next generation is already preparing to take over.
All vineyards are 100% Grand Cru, painstakingly assembled over centuries. Most of the vines are planted with Pinot Noir, giving the wines a bold identity—structured, richly fruity, with a fine mousse and remarkable length.
