Wine description:
A wine with an intense and rich bouquet, blending ripe fruit with subtle oaky notes. On the palate, it shows a powerful structure with velvety nuances of plum and cherry, resulting in a deep and layered tasting experience. The class of this Amarone lies in its beautiful freshness, the true essence of a great wine. The grapes for this wine come from the highest areas of the region, allowing for a slow and optimal ripening. The grapes dry for 3 months in lofts and, after fermentation, the wine ages for 3 years in 35 hl Slovenian oak barrels.

Winery:
Located in the heart of Valpolicella Classico, between San Pietro in Cariano and Fumane, Villa Girardi is a family estate founded in 1986 by Franco Tommasi. The estate is named after the 18th-century Venetian villa designed by Luigi Trezza. Today, the villa is surrounded by 45 hectares of park and vineyards.

Only grapes from their own estate are used. Winemaker Giancarlo Tommasi crafts wines that rank among the region's top producers. Especially the Ripasso from the prestigious ‘Bure Alto’ vineyard, situated at high altitude with views over Lake Garda, stands out. Villa Girardi offers a wide range of authentic and high-quality Veneto wines.
